SWIMSATIONAL SHOCKWAVES RECREATIONAL SWIM TEAM

Swimsational’s Swim Team is a year-round practice team that competes in the summer with Ward 3 in Lake Charles! If your swimmer is interested in joining, give us a call at (337) 476-3076 to schedule a try out! If your swimmer is not quite ready to compete, we offer lessons and stroke technique courses that provide fine tuning on all the necessary skills to get them ready for our competition team!

Our team competes in the summertime for the months of June and July at Ward 3 of Lake Charles. We have 3 swim meets followed by the championship meet held in mid-July!

Our practices are currently held on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 7pm - 8pm with occasional practices on Tuesdays and Fridays based on coach availability. Once we get closer to summertime, more practice days and times will be available!

Our year-round practice team fees consist of a $100 registration fee to cover the cost of equipment and attire followed by a monthly payment of $115 that is due on the first of each month. If your swimmer would like to compete recreationally with our team in the summer, there is an additional fee of $40 for the first two swimmers and $10 for each after. This additional fee is paid to Ward 3 of Lake Charles for insurance and registration cost with the facility.

There is no deadline for when you can join our year-round practice team! However, if your swimmer would like to compete recreationally with us in the summer the deadlines are as followed: Swimmers must have all necessary paperwork and fees submitted to Head Coach Kelsea by May 21st, 2025 in order to compete.
